During the 2024 Spring Festival travel rush, the Sanya Division of Guangda  demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and mission. Leveraging its local service advantages, the division provided all-around GSE maintenance support to Sanya Phoenix International Airport, guarding the safe travel of millions of passengers with professional skills and dedication.

Preparation in Advance

Safety is the top priority during the Spring Festival travel season. The Sanya Division sounded the assembly call a full month in advance, organizing a team of skilled technicians to conduct a thorough inspection of all GSE in use at the airport. Key components such as engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems were examined closely. Worn parts were replaced promptly, eliminating potential safety hazards before they could arise. At the same time, a 24-hour emergency maintenance mechanism was established, with technicians stationed on site to ensure that any equipment failures were addressed immediately.  A solid foundation was laid for safe operations in the airport throughout the travel rush.

Technology Empowers Efficiency

Working closely with the technical departments, Sanya Division made use of an advanced remote diagnostic system, which enabled alerts and rapid localisation of faults, providing an "intelligent brain" to safeguard the operation of GSE. In addition, the team provided data analysis services on GS performance, helping to optimize maintenance processes, improving running efficiency of GSE and reducing operating costs. With these technological measures, stable and efficient performance were ensured.

During the travel rush, Sanya Phoenix International Airport experienced record-high passenger flows. Faced with sustained and mounting pressure, all maintenance staff at the Sanya Division put aside their own family celebrations and stayed at their posts throughout the Spring Festival holiday. They worked overtime; behind the smooth performance of the GSE and the safe travel of the passengers was some recognized hard work and dedication.
