In snow-covered Harbin city, the 9th Asian Winter Games came to a successful close. This sporting event brought together athletes from across Asia. While providing a platform to the athletes seek the extreme of human bodies, it placed extremely high demands on event support operations.

Behind the scenes, several efficient teams worked quietly to make it happen. Among them were Weihai Guangtai Airport Equipment Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries Shandong Guangda Aviation Service Co., Ltd. and Beijing Zhongzhuo Shidai Fire Fighting Equipment Co., Ltd. Professional Equipment Brought Excellent Support

The winter is extremely cold in Harbin.  While during the Asian Winter Games, flights were frequent and ground support tasks were heavy. This placed high demands on both the efficiency and quality of GSE support. Guangda made early and thorough preparations, putting together an experienced and highly skilled support team for the Games.

From February 1st, Guangda carried out all-over inspections and maintenance on multiple Weihai Guangtai GSE units, including container loaders and passenger steps, to ensure that all machines were in optimal condition for the Games. Throughout the event, Guangtai GSE went through the extreme weather with recognizable stability and cold resistance. The Harbin Division of Guangda participated in support missions to nearly 10 major flights, providing safe, efficient, and convenient ground support services for athletes and guests from across Asia.

All-Over Inspections Eliminated Risks

Meanwhile, Zhongzhuo Shidai, specializing in firefighting equipment manufacturing, sent a team of experienced technicians to Harbin to provide fire safety support to every corner.

The team carried out detailed inspections of firefighting equipment at more than 20 fire stations across Harbin, covering everything from maintenance of fire trucks to the availability of firefighting apparatus. Special inspections and calibrations were also carried out on 35 fire trucks designated for Asian Winter Games support, ensuring performance of every truck at its best throughout the event.

During the inspection, the Zhongzhuo Shidai team earned praises from the fire officers for their skills and professionalism.

The performance during this event once again demonstrated the prominent position and strong capabilities of Weihai Guangtai in the machine manufacturing industry. With practical action, the team delivered on its commitment to "good products" and "good service", contributing to the success of another major event for China.
