A skills competition recently took place at Tianjin Konggang Meal Assembly Co., Ltd. The event featured Weihai Guangtai catering trucks as the official competition vehicles, with technical support provided throughout by the Tianjin Division of Shandong Guangda Aviation Service Co., Ltd., as subsidiary of Weihai Guangtai. It was a showcase of both equipment performance and operator skill.

For preparation, the technical team from Guangda's Tianjin Division carried out a full inspection of all competition vehicles. Every aspect was well calibraed - from the exterior and braking systems to lighting and operating parameters - to ensure that all vehicles were in proper working condition for the competition.

During the event, participants competed in three categories: knowledge quiz about catering truck and apron management, emergency truck evacuation, and pre-operation inspection. The stable performance of the Weihai Guangtai catering trucks gave the operators a reliable platform to demonstrate their skills. The supporting team from Tianjin Division of Guangda remained on standby throughout, ready to respond to any unexpected situations to guarantee the competition ran smoothly.

The highlight of the event was a demonstration of a retrofitted auxiliary anti-collision system. This system was made by Weihai Guantai installed by the Tianjin Division in 2021. After four years of practical use, it has earned strong recognition from users. During the demonstration, as the food truck approached a simulated obstacle, the system immediately sounded an alert and applied the brakes automatically, demonstrating its reliability in reducing the risk during docking operations. The client representatives present gave a thumbs-up.

This was the first skills competition held since the integration of Tianjin Konggang Meal Assembly. It not only tested the skills of the staff but also showcased the technical strength of Guangtai equipment.
